Cosmetic Dentist in San Diego Announces Adoption of New Smile Makeover
At her Encinitas cosmetic dentistry practice, Dr. Cathy Santone is announcing the recent addition of an innovative smile makeover system known as Six Month Smiles®. The cosmetic braces technology allows Dr. Santone to provide a quick, effective, and discrete smile makeover for her patients in as little as six months time.

The clear braces are known as Six Month Smiles®, and allow Dr. Santone to straighten teeth quickly and effectively. More importantly however, she adds that the new technology does not require the preparation or grinding associated with porcelain veneers, and the procedure is not as costly as traditional bracing systems.
Six Month Smiles® uses clear braces and tooth colored wires to straighten a patient’s teeth. One benefit of the Invisalign® system is the ability to take the trays out when a patient is eating, brushing or flossing. However, Dr. Santone says treatment can be extended by two weeks if the plastic trays are not worn for a day. Another distinct advantage of Six Month Smiles® is the ability to straighten extremely crowded or crooked teeth, which is often difficult to achieve with the Invisalign® technology.
